1950's- American Manufacturing's Finest Decade
Structo Manufacturing was at home in its new production facility by the start of the 1950's.

The new manufacturing and shipping capacity allowed Structo to introduce it's first completely new lines since before WWII.

The pressed steel Internationals, large scale toys with rubber wheels, headlight details and hoods that opened to reveal the plastic molded "Fireball" motor made for great playthings.

Also making their debut in the toy line were the cast aluminum cab-overs. This line included both "straight truck" models as well as tractor-trailer models.

Th first wind-ups since the late 1930's were also featured as a deluxe line of the cast cab-over line.

Late in the 1950's, the cast cab-over design was phased out and a new pressed steel cab-over was introduced.

The bright colored paint jobs on the 1950's line was a direct contrast to the grey and green colors that were featured in the post-war model years as Structo used up their leftover supply of military paint
